BUILDING AN EARTHSHIP-INSPIRED GREENHOUSE

Applying the principles of Permaculture, PhillyEarth students worked hard to build this Earthship-inspired greenhouse/chicken coop. The entire structure has been constructed using materials indigenous to the urban environment. This includes materials like worn-out tires, concrete fill, bottles and cans, and shredded paper-based cob. These materials constitute 80% of the total materials used. Of that 80%, all of it was salvaged/found and all free!Photo1photo23Photo21Photo20Photo19Photo18Photo18 (640x478)Photo17Photo16Photo15Photo14Photo13Photo12Photo11Photo10Photo9Photo8Photo7Photo6Photo5Photo4Photo3Photo2
