We’ve actually been looking at why people prefer to act in secret rather than discussing things in a reasonable fashion, and it all comes down to emotional attachments to that which they want, which is usually an addiction of some sort. In this case, the Elite are addicted to power, and are emotionally attached to the outcome, therefore they are unable to give good reasons (logic) for what they want, and just act impulsively. They may say they have logic, but their logic supports their addiction to power over others, it isn’t actually reasonable or aligned with truth.
